Terms & Conditions

INTRODUCTION

These Terms & Conditions govern all The Storyteller in you, TSiU workshops, programs, and any additional products and services TSiU provides in the future for any participant (collectively referred to as "TSiU Activities"). All the participants in the TSiU Activity/ program are required to accept these Terms & Conditions by signature or by ticking the acceptance box for these Terms & Conditions when submitting an electronic application form online. To enroll a child below 18, in the TSiU Activity/program, the Parents are required to consent to these Terms & Conditions by signature or by ticking the acceptance box for these Terms & Conditions when submitting an electronic application form online. We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions periodically.

  • "Term" refers to one program-specific term of The Storyteller in You during which weekly & bi-weekly classes are conducted.

  • "Term Dates" refers to the dates for the relevant Term.

  • 'The Storyteller in You' refers to a collective of creative and performing arts facilitators and education experts managed by Manish Halder, resident of 11047, Tower 21, Mahagun My Woods, Greater Noida West.

1. ENROLLING A NEW participant in the TSiU Activity/ Programme.

To apply for a place as a new participant in a TSiU Activity/ Programme, the Parent/Guardian/Participant must agree to these Terms & Conditions and submit an application form online, by post, or in person.

 

 

2. FEES, REFUNDS, AND DISCOUNTS

Fees for TSiU Activity/ Programme may vary between TSiU batches and locations. TSiU fees are reviewed annually and may be revised in July of each year. Each participant place is allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Online or paper applications must be accompanied by a full fee in the case of a workshop or one month’s fee in the case of an ongoing program. The due date for payment of monthly fees for ongoing programmes is the 7th day of every month. A late fee of Rs 500/- will be charged thereafter. If the monthly fee is due for over 30 days, enrolment in the concerned program will be cancelled. The fee is non-refundable. Full fee will be refunded in case a workshop is cancelled or postponed by The Storyteller in You. In case of an ongoing program being cancelled by TSiU, any advance fee paid for the remaining sessions will be refunded. Part payment of fee is not allowed unless specified for a particular program or workshop.

 

 

3. DISCOUNTS

Any discount, if offered, will be specified on the program/workshop page with applicable terms and conditions.

 

 

4. CANCELLATION AND NON-ATTENDANCE

In case a student doesn’t attend one or more sessions during a workshop or an ongoing program, no extra sessions or fee refund will be given. If the participant fails to attend the workshop/program, the full course fees are still payable. TSiU reserves the right to cancel any session and offer the option to attend on an alternative date.

 

 

5. TRIAL PERIOD

TSiU does not offer a trial period. 

 

6. PRODUCTION COST

In the event that a program culminates in a production, the expenses associated with the production shall be separate from the training fees and shall be allocated among the participants. Should the production involve ticket sales, a portion of the production costs shall be borne by the participants as a contribution. The remaining production costs shall be covered by TSiU. Any financial outcome, whether profit or loss, resulting from the ticket sales shall be the sole responsibility of TSiU.

 

7. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • The personal data of a Child and/or Parent submitted using the application form will be processed by TSiU for the purposes of administration and research, in relation to the provision of teaching services in drama. 

  • TSiU will share this information with external agencies (for example organizations with responsibility for children’s safeguarding) only when required or permitted to do so by law. 

  • TSiU will not disclose personal data to third parties for marketing purposes, although TSiU may use personal data for their own marketing and business development purposes, including for the purposes of advertising and promoting new products and/or services by TSiU. Parents who do not wish to receive marketing communications from TSiU should inform TSiU in writing. 

  • TSiU will from time to time take photographs and film footage of Children during Programs/Workshops and performances for use in TSiU marketing and publicity material. Permissions are sought upon registration to TSiU activities. 

  • TSiU owns all the rights, title, and interest in and to its websites, including software, text, and media and its trademarks, logos, and brand elements. Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects or licenses the ownership of these rights. Any intellectual property created during any Workshop/Program which is owned by TSiU, managed by Manish Halder.

 

 

8. HEALTH AND INJURIES

  • Children participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform TSiU and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition. All application forms must have any known medical conditions stated, and any changes to such information must be notified to TSiU immediately in writing. 

  • If you are unsure whether a Child/Participant should participate in any activity please consult the participant’s Medical advisor before enrolling  on a TSiU Activity. 

  • Children/Participant must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times. 

  • If a Child is unwell or has an accident requiring emergency treatment, the Parent will be contacted via the emergency contact details provided below or on the enrollment form. This number must always be contactable whilst the child is attending the TSiU Activity. 

  • Parents are solely responsible for ensuring that the emergency contact details on TSiU’s records are up to date.

 

 

10. PERSONAL PROPERTY

Children/participants are obliged to take care of their own belongings. TSiU can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings. You acknowledge that the maximum aggregate liability of TSiU to a Child or Parent under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the TSiU fee to which a claim relates. The liability of TSiU and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.

 

 

11. ONLINE SESSION SUPERVISION

Parents agree to allow their children to attend TSiU Activities online only under their supervision.

 

 

12. GENERAL

  • TSiU may, at its own discretion, refuse a child's entry to TSiU Activity or session of a TSiU Activity if it is felt that the child’s behaviour is unacceptable. 

  • TSiU reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff from the advertised program in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control. Where a session of a TSiU activity has to be cancelled by TSiU, we will give as much notice as possible. In the event of a last-minute session cancellation, you will be notified by email, text message, a call to your mobile phone, or through a designated TSiU social media site. Parents must ensure that they provide TSiU with up-to-date contact details and ask that TSiU is saved in your email address book to ensure emails reach your inbox. 

  • It is occasionally necessary to change the time and/or venue of a TSiU Class. This will only be done if absolutely necessary, and TSiU will do its best to keep class times and locations as similar as possible, but unfortunately, this cannot always be guaranteed. 

  • In the event that a child is unable to attend a TSiU class, due to sickness, holiday, or a decision by the parent or child not to attend, TSiU regrets that it is unable to refund any payment. 

  • All children must be collected on time after a session. TSiU is unable to supervise children after a session. TSiU fees are reviewed annually and may be increased in August of each year. 

 

These Terms & Conditions, together with any registration form complete, constitute the entire agreement between the parties which supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties
